Banyule Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance to identify a thief following a burglary in Greensborough last month.
Investigators believe a man stole a bank card from a Saxon Court address on Wednesday 13 March about 1.30pm.
It is believed the man then used the stolen bank card at numerous locations, including petrol stations across Bundoora and Preston.
The man is perceived to be of Southern European appearance and aged in his 20s or 30s, with a medium build.
He was wearing a grey and black cap, a distinctive orange high-visibility jumper, dark pants and white runners.
Police are investigating and have released images of a man that may be able to assist with their enquiries.
