Police are appealing for public assistance after a stolen credit card was used at various liquor stores, supermarkets and a fast food restaurant in Melbourne’s east earlier this month.
Cardinia Crime Investigation Unit detectives have been told the credit card was stolen from a Suzuki Swift parked near the intersection of Stewart Street and Punt Road in Richmond sometime between 7.30pm on 7 May and 2am 8 May.
The stolen credit card was used on Monday 9 May in Cockatoo, Emerald and Bayswater at various business premises and a fast food restaurant.
Detectives have released images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
The man is descried to be aged in his 20s, thin with a dark goatee. He was wearing a blue top with ‘Toyko 86’ logo, black sleeves and white stripes and camo shorts with camel-coloured work boots.
The man was in the company of two females and police are also keen to identify them.
