Detectives have been told the victim parked outside an address on Mockridge Avenue about 5.40pm on Thursday 21 May when a masked man appeared.

A man allegedly approached the driver’s side of the victim’s car and fired a number of shots, from what is believed to be a handgun, through the window.

The gun shots missed the man and he was treated for minor injuries from the shattered glass.

The 25-year-old Glen Waverley man was arrested in Springvale this morning.

He has been charged with attempted murder and will appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.
