Two men were injured outside the Bros outlaw motorcycle gang clubhouse in Campbell Street about 1.40am an 5 March.
A 38-year-old man from Altona and a 37-year-old man from Herne Hill were both seriously injured; one was shot in the abdomen and one was in the ankle.
It is believed the gunman approached on foot from the western end of Campbell Street and fired four shots at a group of Bros members.
He then ran back along Campbell Street and got into a car where a driver was waiting and drove off along Kent Street.
No one has been arrested at this stage and investigators are yet to locate the vehicle or weapon involved in the incident.
Police are making enquiries with a number of other Bros clubhouses across the state, including those in the Ballarat and Maryborough areas.
