Police are searching for the fourth consecutive day today to locate a 31-year-old man missing from Sawmill Settlement near Merrijig.

Taddeo Haigh was last seen leaving a residential address in Gibb Court on Sunday night about 9.30pm after telling family and friends he was going for a walk.

Victoria Police members alongside specialist areas Airwing, Dog Squad and Mounted Branch are being supported by St John Ambulance, CFA, Bush Search and Rescue, Ambulance Victoria, SES and Department of Environment, Water, Land and Planning.

The parents of Taddeo Haigh arrived in Australia last night and they will be joined by more relatives from overseas today. They will all assist police with the search.
