Police are appealing for witnesses after a 16-year-old teenage boy was seriously assaulted in Broadmeadows last Saturday.
Police have been told the victim was at a shopping centre on Pascoe Vale Road when he was approached by three unknown males about 1pm.
An altercation occurred and one of the males hit the teen to the head, causing him to fall to the ground.
The two other offenders then punched and kicked him to his upper body, before all three fled the scene.
The victim, from Roxburgh Park was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital with a cut to the head and two black eyes.
The offenders are described as being aged between 14 and 17-years-old.
The first offender was wearing a grey and white camouflage Adidas jumper, black pants and a black cap.
The second offender was wearing a blue jumper, grey pants and blue Nike shoes.
The third offender was wearing black pants, a black cap and a black jumper with white stripes.
Investigators have released CCTV and images of three males that may assist with their enquiries.
