I commute daily from north of Mount Macedon to the south east suburbs (about 110k each way). Each and every day, I am stunned at how many people significantly exceed the 80kph speed limit

I drive to work from Hampton to South Melbourne along beach road at around 6.50 to 7.15 AM. The drive at this time is not too bad as motor vehicle traffic is reasonable at this time however, it is still quite a stressful drive due to the numbers of cyclists using this route.

I know that operation Aegis is a good thing, but every holiday time I travel the country roads where, I might add alot of accidents are these day's, and hardley see any poilce.
