Drive Thru for Blue

On Friday, McDonalds held its 'Drive Thru for Blue' in support of the Blue Ribbon Foundation. This event was held at all 172 Drive Thrus in the state between 6pm & 7pm

 McDonalds donated $1 to the Blue Ribbon Foundation for every vehicle that went through one of the Drive Thrus. A huge thanks to McDonalds for their support.

In Frankston and on the Mornington Peninsula, our STOP team members worked for an hour in McDonalds stores in Somerville, Hastings, Frankston and Karingal to help raise money.

Even the Local Area Commander for the Mornington Peninsula, Inspector Martin Tynan (pictured), joined in the fun at the Somerville store.  

Next Saturday 29th September is Police Remembrance Day. This year, the memorial service will be held on Friday 28th, so please show your support. You'll hear more from me next week about the significance of Police Remembrance Day.
