Frankston STOP team joins forces with Frankston PSOs

Tagged:

Last week, the Frankston PSOs and the Frankston STOP team joined forces to patrol the Frankston Railway Station and Transport Hub.

In just a short time, they arrested a person for being drunk. He received a $563 fine and spent four hours in the cells at the police station. Another man was officially told to move on and another was warned about the way he attempted to catch a moving train.

Our PSOs and STOP team police are sending out a clear message to people wanting to break the law in our transport hub at Frankston: You will be detected and swiftly dealt with. We want people to not only feel safe, but also reassured that we are dealing with any problems as they occur. Myself and all members of the Frankston Police Station welcome the PSOs to Frankston and congratulate them on the good work they are doing.

We look forward to working with our PSOs in the future to help keep the Frankston Railway Station and Transport Hub safe. Next time you're in the area, please feel free to say hello to our PSOs and make them feel welcome at Frankston.
