There are around 1,400 people on the Australian organ transplant waiting list at one time. In 2014, Sergeant Jason Wallace was one of these people. He was lucky enough to receive part of a liver which saved his life. That same year, another Victoria Police Sergeant, John Lowe, was experiencing the other side of organ donation after his wife tragically passed following a brain aneurism. Her donation saved the lives of six people. Watch their story.
Contact card to enhance police engagement
Victoria Police is today launching a new ‘contact card’ as part of its commitment to transparent and accountable policing.
