Frankston drink driver

A man has been taken off the road after allegedly being caught drink driving in Frankston this morning.

Somerville Highway Patrol detected the driver travelling with three passengers in the car at 111 km/h in an 80 km/h zone on Frankston-Dandenong Road just before 3am.

The 25-year-old Corio man returned an evidentiary breath test reading of 0.151% BAC.

The man’s licence was immediately suspended for 12 months and he had his car impounded for 30 days at a cost of $1005.

He is expected to be charged on summons with drink driving offences.
