Motorcycle rider dies in Melton crash

A motorcycle rider has died during after crashing his bike at Melton this morning.

It’s believed the man was riding his motorcycle north on Ferris Road when he lost control and came off the bike at the roundabout at High Street about 2.30am

The exact circumstances of the crash are still being investigated.

The rider, who has yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
