Hurstbridge Wattle Festival

Hurstbridge Wattle Festival

Come join us for an exciting day on Sunday, 27th August from 10am to 4pm.

We will celebrate Hurstbridge in 2023 with unique attractions. There will be market stalls and kids rides as well as live music, camels and the Steam Train.

Sponsor the festivalHurstbridge Wattle Festival

The festival is dependent on sponsors and friends. We would not have been able to host a community event of this magnitude without our long-standing supporters, such as Nillumbik Shire Council or Bendigo Bank. In 2023 we will also thank the Victorian Government.

Every year, the Hurstbridge Wattle Festival takes place on the last Sunday of August.

This is a celebration of Australia’s unique heritage, community and environment.

Locals can celebrate their joys in living in Melbourne‘s Diamond Valley’s green wedge. The annual Hurstbridge event began in 2004, and it has been growing in popularity each year. The 2020 and 2021 festivals have moved online to try to bring the joy to our community during COVID. The online festival was available all year long and gave you the opportunity to explore Hurstbridge, its shops, groups, and activities.

The festival will return to Hurstbridge in 2022 with a record-breaking number of people estimated at over 15,000. This is a true community event, where each community space comes to life to celebrate spring.
